Uncontrolled bleeding is the leading cause of preventable death from injury, but anyone can learn how to control bleeding and save a life. Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call to action that cultivates grassroots efforts to empower bystanders to help in a bleeding emergency.

Dell Medical School sponsors the Longhorn chapter of Stop the Bleed. Attend this free training to learn to recognize and address a life-threatening injury. The class is open to everyone, and the curriculum is simple. You can even learn to be a trainer.
