About the Event
Extraordinary Learning and Teaching in the Clinical Setting is a faculty development course that meets weekly with the goal of exploring strategies for teaching in the outpatient setting. Sessions include peer-to-peer discussion, case studies, simulations, videos and practice with feedback, drawing on evidence from the medical education literature.
Faculty members need not participate in all sessions to enroll in the course; however, participation can be counted toward Dell Medical School Certificate in Clinical Teaching (2 to 16 hours depending on sessions attended).
This installment, “Promoting a Culture Where Good Character Thrives,” is presented by Carrie Barron, M.D., director of creativity for resilience; and LuAnn Wilkerson, Ed.D., associate dean for evaluation and faculty development in the Department of Medical Education.
Register in advance to receive the Zoom information. Email Michael Dean if you have questions.
