About the Event

In this installment of Pediatric Research Seminar series, the pediatric infectious disease research team presents “Infectious Disease Research and QI Projects: Completed Projects and What’s Next on the Horizon for 2025.”

Presenters include:

  • Rachel Downey, MSN, APRN, CNS, CPNP-AC, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Research Coordinator, Dell Children’s Medical Center
  • Nisha Parihar, Ph.D., Clinical Research Coordinator, Department of Pediatrics, Dell Medical School
  • Alec Wesolowski, Pharm.D., BCIDP, Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, Infectious Diseases, Dell Children’s Medical Center

They share their findings from recently completed research and quality improvement work that was presented at IDWeek 2024 as well as current and upcoming projects. Special attention is given to how undergrads, grad students, medical students, residents and fellows can get involved.
