This installment of Neurology Grand Rounds features Robert A. Gross, M.D., Ph.D., presenting “Believing What You Read: Challenges in Biomedical Publishing.” Gross is the associate chair for academic affairs and a professor of neurology and professor of pharmacology and physiology at the University of Rochester.

By the end of this event series, the audience participant should be able to:
- Discuss the categories of error in biomedical literature.
- Recognize the Open Access process, its pros and cons.
- Identify the various specific types of design or interpretive errors that lessen the strength of biomedical literature.
