About the Event

In this installment of Neurology Grand Rounds, Michael J. Solomon, M.D., presents “Ethics Considerations in Brain-Computer Interface.” Solomon is an assistant professor in the Department of Diagnostic Medicine at Dell Medical School.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:

  1. Explore the ethics implications of new technologies.
  2. Review the current status of brain-computer interfaces.
  3. Review fundamental bioethics concerns.
  4. Apply fundamental bioethics approaches to brain-computer interfaces.

Target Audience

  • Primary: Neurologists, neuroscientists, nurses, residents, medical students
  • Secondary: Other health care professionals
