About the Event

The second annual Livestrong Cancer Institutes Cancer Prevention and Control Research Symposium will feature national and local work on health equity and its importance for cancer prevention and control.

8-9 a.m. Poster Session & Breakfast Reception

Faculty, staff, residents, and students will highlight their work in cancer prevention and control research in poster format.

9 a.m.-2 p.m. Presentations

The keynote speaker is Jennifer Haas, M.D., with “Care-based Interventions to Improve Cancer Screening and Prevention.” She is a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She is also a professor of social and behavioral sciences at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Other local scholars will present.

Symposium talks will also be available via Zoom.
