About the Event
This installment of Pediatric Grand Rounds features Jason Fullmer, M.D., on cystic fibrosis. Fullmer is a pediatric pulmonologist at Dell Children’s Medical Group.
By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:
- Describe the pathophysiology and treatment of cystic fibrosis.
- Discuss the reasons patients with cystic fibrosis are doing better and living longer.
- Recognize that there are many different diseases causing mutations in cystic fibrosis and the need for personalized medicine.
- Primary: Pediatricians, pediatric subspecialists, family medicine physicians, pediatric residents
- Secondary: Nursing staff, hospital staff
