About the Event

Join us for presentations and moderated discussion of research conducted by faculty, residents and students in or with the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care at the department’s fourth annual research symposium.

We are pleased to welcome Zara Cooper, M.D., M.Sc., associate professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School, as visiting professor for this event. Cooper is an acute care surgeon, trauma surgeon and surgical intensivist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital where she serves as Kessler Director for the Center for Surgery and Public Health. Her research interests include improving palliative and geriatric care for older seriously ill surgical patients.
