About the Event

Co-hosted by Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas and Dell Medical School, the 2023 Austin Trauma & Critical Care Conference’s curriculum is designed to enhance the knowledge and skill of physicians, nurses, allied health and pre-hospital personnel caring for critically ill and injured patients in rural, urban and suburban hospitals.

Day 1 (May 31) will be dedicated to pediatric care. Day 2 and 3 (June 1 and 2) will cover adult critical and emergency care.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Describe the advances in management and technology of injured or critically ill adult and pediatric patients
  2. Discuss current controversies in the management of adult and pediatric trauma and critically ill patients
  3. Evaluate new guidelines and recommendations for the care of trauma and critically ill adult and pediatric patients
