About the Event

The 2019 Keeping Central Texas Children Well conference will focus on pediatric topics, highlighting important health issues affecting the children of our community.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the conference, attendees should be able to:

  • Recognize the ethical, social, economic and cultural influences impacting the care of children and their families.
  • Apply the latest scientific evidence toward strategies and techniques to incorporate best practices into pediatric patient care and value-based care.
  • Evaluate and apply approaches for the diagnosis and management of pediatric patients.

  • Primary: Primary care pediatric and family medicine physicians, nurse practitioners and nurses
  • Secondary: Pediatric subspecialty and surgical physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, resident physicians and medical and nursing students
