In addition to the standard curriculum, the Psychiatry Residency offers a dedicated Women’s Reproductive Mental Health Track for general psychiatry residents. This innovative, longitudinal program prepares residents to become leaders in the field of reproductive psychiatry through immersive clinical training, interdisciplinary scholarship and advocacy.
About the Track
This three-year longitudinal experience begins in PGY-2 and offers residents the opportunity to:
- Engage in didactics that span the reproductive lifespan.
- Train in a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient psychiatry, high-risk obstetrics, fetal care and the neonatal intensive care unit.
- Participate in focused psychotherapy electives centered on perinatal mental health.
- Receive interdisciplinary mentorship and research support.
