I was lucky enough to spend my third and fourth years of medical school in Austin. Having the opportunity to see the residency program before I entered it only cemented my commitment to the field of psychiatry. The attendings at the Dell Medical School program were thoughtful, caring and helped guide me through the infancy of my career and are still close colleagues to this day. The program helped showed me the various opportunities in the field, and I ended up also completing a fellowship in consultation-liaison psychiatry there. My entire experience helped guide me into my passion of academic medicine.

I greatly enjoyed my training at the Dell Medical School Psychiatry Residency. The people I trained with have become lifelong friends and colleagues.
