Delivering Patient-Centered Training in Primary Care Sports Medicine
The Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin provides a comprehensive educational experience in a supportive and diverse learning environment that fosters compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based, high-value health care.
Fellows are trained to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary network to provide optimum care for patients with sports medicine or orthopaedic conditions. Fellows are also exposed to unique educational opportunities in the field of sports medicine with physically active patient populations and team sporting events.
The Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship is affiliated with Dell Med’s Department of Population Health. Learn more about the fellowship in a welcome letter from the program director.
