Pathology Residency

The Pathology Residency program at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin provides a four-year program in anatomic and clinical pathology. Residents in this program will gain a solid foundation in all fields of pathology through the guidance and supervision of pathology faculty members trained in a wide variety of specialties.

The residency values and practices a team-based approach, and it fosters leadership skills and accountability to enhance patient care. Service obligations are balanced with a comprehensive didactic educational curriculum, multidisciplinary case conferences and opportunities in teaching and research.

The Pathology Residency is affiliated with the Department of Diagnostic Medicine. Learn more about the program in a welcome letter from program director Amanda Rivera-Begeman, D.O.
