Applications are accepted through Electronic Residency Application Service beginning Sept.15 and are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Only J1 visas will be considered for sponsorship.
In addition, applicants must:
- Have passed the USMLE steps I & II on first attempt with a minimum score of 220.
- Have graduated from medical school within the past four years.
- Be eligible for a Texas license upon the completion of residency. Your school must be listed on the Texas Medical Board’s list of medical schools with “Substantial Equivalence.”
Interviews will be offered beginning Oct. 1 and will be scheduled from mid-October through early December.
