Biography
Jeff Carroll grew up in Jonesboro, a small town in north Louisiana. He attended undergrad at Louisiana State University and completed medical school at LSU Health Shreveport School of Medicine. He was one of the chief residents for the LSU Psychiatry Residency Program in Baton Rouge. His primary clinical interests lie in consult-liaison psychiatry and neuromodulation. He is a passionate sports fan and also enjoys film and exploring with his golden retriever.

Alicia Khan

Biography
Allie Khan completed medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine and was the education chief at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Khan has dedicated her career to advocating for improved women’s health and professional development. She has served many leadership roles including co-founder of the Women in Medicine section of the Medical Society of the District of Columbia; Washington Psychiatric Society resident-fellow board member; Washington Psychiatric Society Career, Learning and Mentorship co-chair, and APA Area 3 resident-fellow deputy representative. She also co-founded Medstar Moms in Medicine, a resident-led support group for new moms in training for which she won Resident of the Year at the 2025 Washington Psychiatric Society Annual Gala. She has continued her advocacy work in residency through publishing numerous first-author publications, giving oral presentations at national conferences and participating in ongoing policy work through the APA.

Biography
Jake Miller grew up in Holden, Massachusetts and attended the University of Massachusetts for undergrad. He completed medical school at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital in Jackson, Michigan and was one of the chief residents. His primary clinical interests include consultation-liaison psychiatry, inpatient psychiatry and interventional psychiatry. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, lifting weights and playing golf.
