Derek Lanuto, M.D., is interested in mood dysregulation and personality disorders, as well as learning psychotherapy to integrate with pharmacological treatments. In his off time, he enjoys exploring new restaurants, hiking, spending time with friends and family, hosting game and movie nights, watching and following Formula 1, and reading science fiction and fantasy.

He is a father, husband, outdoorsman, and lover of good food and live music. He aspires to make deep connections in unexpected places.

Rimsha Arif, M.D., is interested in continuing within academic psychiatry and enjoys both the inpatient and outpatient setting. She also has an interest in psychotherapy and integrating it in clinical practice. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the Austin area, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
Jonathan Barron

Interests
Jonathan Barron, M.D., is interested in the development and treatment of personality disorders, trauma, and family therapy, with a focus on how early relational experiences shape identity and attachment. He enjoys exploring psychodynamic and existential approaches to care and is fascinated by the intersection of psychiatry and narrative. Outside of work, he loves watching anime, playing board games, writing fiction, and learning Russian. He also enjoys photography, film, hiking with friends, and discovering hidden cafés and bookstores.

She is passionate about school-based mental health and psychotherapy with a goal to work in an outpatient facility that incorporates exercise as part of the treatment regime. On her off time she enjoys playing tennis, weightlifting, reading, trying new foods and hanging out with friends.

Elizabeth Martin, M.D., has clinical interests in transitional-age youth, collaborative care, community psychiatry and systems-based solutions to improve mental health care access. On the research track, she is leading a qualitative analysis study at Amplify Center, a multidisciplinary transitional-age youth mental health clinic that prioritizes access to care for young adults. In her free time, she enjoys trail walks, swimming, and Austin’s local art and live music scene.
