About

Truman Milling Jr. is associate professor at Dell Medical School and deputy director of the Ascension Seton/UT Southwestern Clinical Research Institute. He completed medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, residency at New York Methodist and an Annals of Emergency Medicine Resident fellowship. He has been a faculty member since 2005. His academic interest is in clinical research.

He serves on the editorial board of Annals of Emergency Medicine, the specialty’s premier journal. He has published about many facets of emergency research and has extensive experience in National Institutes of Health and industry clinical trials. Prior to his medical career, he was a journalist and conflict correspondent for the Houston Chronicle.
