Suzanne Wallen

About

Suzanne Wallen joined The University of Texas at Austin in January 2020 as Dell Medical School’s director of development for corporate and foundation relations.

Reporting to Stacy Waters, Dell Med’s associate vice president for development, Wallen will work with corporations and foundations to further the mission and vision of the medical school through philanthropy.

Most recently, she worked for Spaulding Rehabilitation Network of hospitals and clinics in Massachusetts, including the Harvard Medical School’s Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation teaching hospital and faculty. Before that, she was with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Libraries and Press. She has more than 25 years’ experience in development, including corporate, foundation and government funding for global health and medicine and higher education institutions.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Pitzer College in Claremont, California, and her master’s in regional planning from Cornell University.
