About
Sarah Anne Frommer, M.D., Ph.D., earned her Ph.D. in biomedical engineering and M.D. from the University of Minnesota, completed residency training in Plastic Surgery at Brown University, and pursued fellowship training in craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery at UTMB Austin. Frommer has held academic appointments at Baylor College of Medicine and is recognized for her leadership in pediatric plastic surgery, receiving honors such as Austin Monthly’s Top Doctor and multiple National Institutes of Health training grants.
She actively contributes to professional organizations, including AO CMF and the American College of Surgeons, and serves on the board of Austin Smiles. Her educational efforts span curriculum development, clinical instruction and mentorship of medical students and residents.
Frommer’s research focuses on craniofacial surgery, surgical planning and health care access, with numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and invited presentations at national and international conferences.
