About
Samuel Mirrop has been practicing general pediatrics at Pediatric Associates of Austin since 1994. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also a member of the Travis County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association.
Since joining Pediatric Associates of Austin, Mirrop has had a wide impact on the medical community in Austin. His passion and heart for pediatrics are always on display. In addition to treating children at the practice, Mirrop also:
- Served on the peer review committee at Children’s Hospital of Austin (now Dell Children’s Medical Center).
- Taught residents and students at Children’s Hospital of Austin.
- Served as president of the Pediatric Physician Alliance of Central Texas.
- Served on the board of the Ronald McDonald House of Central Texas.
In addition to these medical positions, Mirrop has had the honor of being recognized in Texas Monthly’s Super Doctors, Austin Monthly’s Best Doctors and Best Doctors in America as one of the region’s leading pediatricians.
When not at Pediatric Associates of Austin, Mirrop enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and daughter. He is also an avid “Star Wars” fan.
