Richard Thompson, D.O.

Ricky Thompson, D.O., is a pediatric emergency medicine physician who completed both residency and fellowship training at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin. Drawn to the city’s vibrant culture and community, he chose to stay and build his career where he feels most at home. His interests include emergency department procedures, clinical efficiency and communication, as well as resident and fellow education and mentorship. His interests also include global health, with a focus on equity and decolonization in academic medicine.
