Rajitha Reddy, M.D.

Rajitha Reddy, M.D., grew up in Lufkin, Texas, and completed both her undergraduate and medical education in San Antonio. She then trained at University of Illinois Chicago, drawn to the program’s strong focus on health equity. During residency, she helped update the health equity track curriculum, promoting greater preparedness of tackling social determinants of health.

After completing residency, Reddy returned to Texas to practice and teach medicine. Her professional interests include improving health systems, caring for pregnant patients, airway management and asylum medicine. She is dedicated to advancing equitable, systems-based approaches to patient care and medical education.
