About
Phi Ho, M.D., MBA, is a board-certified pediatric anesthesiologist. He earned his medical degree with research distinction from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed his anesthesiology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where he served as chief resident, followed by a pediatric anesthesia fellowship at Stanford University.
Ho has received numerous honors, including the FAER Resident Scholar Award. He is actively involved in medical education as a pediatric anesthesia site director, and he mentors students through UT Austin’s Health Careers Mentorship Program. His research and quality improvement work focus on pediatric perioperative care, with publications in Anesthesiology and other peer-reviewed journals, and he has presented nationally and internationally on topics ranging from malignant hyperthermia to health care cost analysis.
Ho contributes to professional societies including the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia and the American Society of Anesthesiologists, where he serves in leadership and educational roles.
