About
Norman Chenven is the founding CEO of Austin Regional Clinic (ARC), a multi-specialty medical group with about 325 providers that serves the greater Austin area in 24 clinical locations. He is the president and CEO of Covenant Management Systems, an Austin-based practice management company, third-party administrator and medical management organization that provides technical support and services to medical groups, provider networks and governmental and employer based health plans.
Chenven received his undergraduate degree in physics from Brown University, his medical degree from the State University of New York Medical Science Center in Brooklyn and post-graduate training at Bexar County Hospital in San Antonio. He spent two years on the Navajo Reservation as a general medical officer in the Indian Health Service. Chenven started his career in Austin as an emergency room physician at Brackenridge Hospital prior to founding ARC.
