About
Nancy Nussbaum, Ph.D., ABPP, is a licensed psychologist and associate professor in the Department of Neurology. She has over 25 years of experience working with children to develop a comprehensive understanding of their strengths and challenges through neuropsychological assessment.
Currently, Nussbaum’s clinical practice is focused on neuropsychological evaluation and functional imagining with pediatric epilepsy patients. She is also active in research, publishing and training through The University of Texas at Austin: Her current research interests include the application of functional imaging in presurgical decision-making and the modeling of neuropsychological data in epilepsy subtypes.
Nussbaum is a fellow of the National Academy of Neuropsychology, a specialist in clinical neuropsychology and a subspecialist in pediatric neuropsychology, certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology. She is active in organizational work and is past president of the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology and the Austin Neuropsychological Society.
