About

Michelle Duncan, M.D., FACOG, is a board-certified OB-GYN and career obstetrics hospitalist. She graduated from Harvard College and the University of Michigan Medical School, and completed her OB-GYN residency at Parkland Hospital in Dallas in 2003. After four years in private practice, she transitioned to academic medicine and has held faculty appointments at Michigan State University, Georgetown University, Howard University and most recently Temple University in Philadelphia.

Dr. Duncan began hospitalist work in 2009 and has practiced exclusively as an OB hospitalist since 2014. Her clinical interests include high-risk postpartum and obstetric critical care patients, placenta accreta spectrum disorders, complex obstetric surgery and trauma in obstetric patients. She also has a strong interest in teaching and enjoys working with residents, students and multidisciplinary teams on labor and delivery. She looks forward to collaborating with physicians, nurses and support staff to provide safe, high-quality obstetric care.
