About

<p>Michael Breen, MD, FACOG, is a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon and the Medical Director of <a href=”https://www.partnersincare.health/womens-health” target=”_blank”>Women’s Health</a>, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Medicine. He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of chronic pelvic pain, and his expertise in minimally invasive surgery includes robotic and laparoscopic surgery. Additionally, Dr. Breen is an associate professor and serves as both the Associate Chair of Clinical Integration and Operations for the Dell Medical School Department of Women’s Health. He also serves as the Associate Program Director for the Dell Medical School Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program.</p>
<p>Dr. Breen earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed an integrated residency at the University of Arizona School of Medicine as well as a second residency in family practice at John Peter Smith Hospital.</p>
<p>Dr. Breen has been an educator for over 15 years. Prior to joining the inaugural faculty at Dell Medical School, he taught at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, and the Central Texas Medical Center Foundation, actively participating in the rethinking of women’s health.</p>
<p>Dr. Breen is a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon with Ascension Medical Group Seton Women’s Health.</p>
