About
Matthew T. Wallace, M.D., MBA, is a practicing orthopaedic oncologist with a focus on bone and soft tissue sarcomas. He provides surgical care for both benign and malignant musculoskeletal tumors in children and adults.
Wallace joined the Dell Medical School faculty in 2023 and is affiliated with Dell Children’s Medical Center and Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas. His academic interests include optimizing safe practices in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal tumors, emerging technologies and innovations in limb salvage surgery, and the advancement of amputee care, including reinnervation, myoelectrics and osseointegration.
Outside of clinical practice, Wallace is a dedicated educator and national lecturer with over 20 years of experience in test preparation and examination review. He emphasizes the role of public service in medicine and has served on the Maryland Board of Physicians and the Maryland Medical Corps.
