About
M. Yvette Williams-Brown, MD, MMS, FACOG, is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist in Women’s Health, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Williams-Brown is an associate professor and serves as the Division Director of Gynecologic Oncology for the Dell Medical School Department of Women’s Health at The University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Williams-Brown earned her medical degree from Tulane University and her master’s in medical science with a focus in biomedical sciences from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed both a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Dr. Williams-Brown also provides gynecologic oncology services through the Ascension Seton Specialty Care Center. She is passionate about mentoring the next generation of physicians and serves as a career advisor and Academic Society Coach at Dell Medical School. Her research focuses on improving healthcare delivery, particularly in the area of women’s health.
Dr. Williams-Brown is a gynecologic oncologist with UT Medicine.
