About

Leah Staines, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician and neonatologist at Dell Children’s Medical Center. She received her Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and earned her medical degree from Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio. She completed her pediatrics residency training at UTHealth McGovern Medical School followed by her neonatal-perinatal fellowship at the University of South Florida.

Staines enjoys teaching and is the director of neonatal fellowship simulation within the neonatal-perinatal fellowship program at Dell Med. Her clinical interests and research involve quality improvement and extremely preterm infants.
