About

Leah Ferrante, M.D., is a pediatric neurologist with UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children’s. She specializes in pediatric neurology, fetal and neonatal neurology, and diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disabilities. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in neurology with special qualifications in child neurology and neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Ferrante completed her medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine, where she received the Mountaineer Medical Scholarship. Following her residency in pediatrics and neurodevelopmental disabilities from Baylor College of Medicine, she completed a fellowship in fetal and neonatal neurology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Ferrante is a published author and researcher. She is a member of the Newborn Brain Society, the Texas Neurological Society, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Neurology.
