About
Katie Losenno, M.D., FRCPC, is a pediatric acute care cardiologist in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in aortic and connective tissue disorders.
Losenno earned her medical degree from the University of Limerick in Limerick, Ireland, and her master’s degree in clinical anatomy from Western University in London, Ontario. She completed both a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario.
Losenno’s clinical interests include the genetics, management and long-term outcomes of patients with aortic and connective tissue diseases. Her research focuses on outcomes of the Ross procedure and complex thoracic aortic repairs. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Canadian Congenital Heart Alliance and is an active member of the Canadian Cardiology Society, the Canadian Thoracic Aortic Collaborative and the Heart Valve Society.
