About
Katherine Rose, Psy.D., is a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas. She completed her master’s and doctoral degrees at Immaculata University in Pennsylvania. She then completed her predoctoral internship at the Travis County Juvenile Probation Department, where she was trained in forensic assessments and provided therapy to youth in a secure correctional facility. Upon graduating in 2014, Rose completed her postdoctoral work at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, specializing in suicidal and self-injurious behavior in children and adolescents.
Rose is Linehan board-certified in dialectical behavior therapy, and in her current role she is on the consult liaison team at Dell Children’s Medical Center providing services to children and families in the emergency department and through the Texas Child Study Center. Rose’s specialty is in working with children and families impacted by emotional and behavioral dysregulation.
