About
Katherine Rose, Psy.D., is a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas. She completed her master’s and doctoral degrees at Immaculata University in Pennsylvania. She then completed her predoctoral internship at the Travis County Juvenile Probation Department, where she was trained in forensic assessments and provided therapy to youth in a secure correctional facility. Upon graduating in 2014, Rose completed her postdoctoral work at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, specializing in suicidal and self-injurious behavior in children and adolescents. Rose owns a private practice where she specializes in dialectical behavior therapy and is Linehan board-certified in dialectical behavior therapy. In addition to her private practice, she works for the Travis County Juvenile Probation Department as the director of assessment services. Rose serves as the suicide prevention authority for the Travis County Juvenile Probation Department, faculty for the APA-accredited internship program, faculty for the postdoctoral program and adjunct faculty for The University of Texas at Austin. In her adjunct faculty position she oversees the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship juvenile justice rotation.
