About

John Nguyen, M.D., is an affiliate faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, program director of the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship and a board-certified psychiatrist in UT Health Austin’s Comprehensive Pain Management clinic.

Nguyen is also the associate medical director for crisis, residential and substance use services with Integral Care and an adjunct assistant professor at Texas A&M College of Medicine. In the past, he served as director of addiction treatment services in the VA Palo Alto Health Care System.
