George Seremetis

About

George Seremetis is a affiliate faculty for the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care. He is a board-certified urologist with a subspecialty certification in pediatric urology. He received his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Seremetis earned dual masters degrees in biostatistics and physiology at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He also earned his medical degree at Georgetown University. After two years of general surgery training at Dartmouth University in Hanover, New Hampshire, he joined MedCorp International and spent a year in Pakistan. Seremetis completed a urologic surgery residency at Dartmouth University and an advanced training fellowship in pediatric urology at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Seremetis has held many leadership positions at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas including chief of surgery and chief of staff. He is also active in the hospital’s peer review, and he is the urology director for the Spina Bifida Clinic.
