Gail Giebink

About

Gail Giebink is director of foundation relations on the Dell Medical School development team. In this role, she seeks to build relationships with private foundations whose priorities align with those of the school, and she helps to prepare proposals in response to foundation funding opportunities.

She joined Dell Med after working 36 years for The University of Texas at Austin in a series of administrative and development roles. In 2015, she retired from the University Development Office, where she was serving as executive director of corporate and foundation relations, but she couldn’t resist an opportunity to work part time for the up-and-coming new medical school.

She earned a B.A. in Spanish from Middlebury College in Vermont and a B.A. in journalism from Eastern Washington University. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, reading, visiting her grown kids and young grandchildren, and traveling with her husband Doug.
