About
Elizabeth T. Reidy is originally from the northern suburbs of Chicago. She attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, earning a B.S. in biology and graduating with distinction. She attended Northwestern University Medical School for her Doctor of Medicine degree and completed a pediatric residency at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
Reidy held a junior faculty position at the children’s hospital, splitting her time between caring for special needs children and staffing the local county urgent care clinic for a year. She went into private practice in the Chicago area for eight years before moving to Austin.
Reidy has practiced in the Austin area since 1998, working for Bee Caves Pediatrics and Northwest Pediatrics before opening Schoolhouse Pediatrics. She is board certified and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has two grown children and enjoys tennis, Austin music, gardening and hiking.
