About

Diana Prieto, M.D., is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist in the mental health unit at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas. She specializes in the treatment of child and adolescent psychiatric disorders, including anxiety, depression and ADHD, among others.

Prieto earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed a residency in general psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Connecticut UConn Health.

Prieto is an active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Psychiatric Association. She is fluent in Spanish and has an interest in the mental health of minority populations. She spent part of her adult psychiatry training working closely with the refugee population in Houston.
