About

David Laverty is an assistant professor and orthopaedic elective director, leading both two- and four-week experiences for undergraduate medical students interested in adult and pediatric orthopaedic surgery as well as musculoskeletal conditions, in the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care. He is also an orthopaedic trauma surgeon and chief of staff at Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas.
