About
Corrie Roehm is a pediatric otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat or ENT doctor) and a affiliate faculty in the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care at Dell Medical School. She is the director of the pediatric hearing team including the multidisciplinary pediatric cochlear implant team, and she oversees diagnostic care and hearing and communication rehabilitation for children with hearing loss. She and her team provide comprehensive services for children with hearing loss/auditory impairment (HL/AI), including hearing aids, bone-anchored hearing aids, cochlear implants, speech therapy, AV therapy, ASL/sign and education about and access to all communication options preferred by our families, with focus on Hearing- and Deaf-friendly care. Roehm grew up in Austin and worked with children with HL/AI as a volunteer in high school at the Texas School for the Deaf and Brackenridge Children’s Hospital.
