About

Carlos Brown, M.D., is the chief of Division of Acute Care Surgery and professor for the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care.

He grew up in Austin, Texas, and was thrilled to return home in 2007. Brown is actively involved in trauma care and medical student and surgical resident education, as well as clinical research. He likes to spend his free time with his wife and three kids.
