Benjamin Ehrenfeld, LCSW-S

About

Benjamin Ehrenfeld, LCSW-S, is a senior licensed clinical social worker and team lead for Integrated Behavior Health and the Department of Health Social Work. His clinical practice is based in in UT Health Austin’s Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Center within the Mulva Clinic for the Neurosciences, where he provides clinical and care management support for the patients diagnosed multiple Ssclerosis and other neuroimmunological conditions.

Additionally, Ehrenfeld is as an assistant professor of practice in Steve Hicks School of Social Work at The University of Texas at Austin. Ehrenfeld earned his master’s in social work from Salem State University and his bachelor’s in music therapy from the Berklee College of Music. He also earned his narrative therapy certification from the Narrative Therapy Initiative in Salem, Massachusetts.

Ehrenfeld’s clinical interests include supporting individuals and communities with navigating the health care system, coming into a preferred relationship with their illness and developing a preferred narrative about their lives and experiences.
