Development Associate, Development
Ashley Garza joined Dell Medical School development in early 2020. As a development associate, she provides administrative support to the major gifts team to help advance donor strategies and cultivate faculty relationships.
Previously, she was a development specialist at the Briscoe Center for American History, where she helped process donated collections. Prior to that, she interned at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and was introduced to the world of development.
She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from The University of Texas at Austin with a minor in anthropology. She also received certificates in pre-health, forensic science and museum studies. In her spare time, she enjoys running, walking her dog and going to Alamo Drafthouse.
