About
Arun Gurunathan, M.D., is a practicing pediatric hematologist with a focus on hemostasis/bleeding disorders. At Dell Med, Gurunathan has a QI focus, especially in regards to enhancing supportive care of patients with bleeding disorders. He is committed to providing high-quality compassionate care that addresses not only the disease but also its physical and emotional impact.
Prior to joining Dell Med, Gurunathan was an assistant professor of pediatrics at Seattle Children’s Hospital and worked there as an attending pediatric hematologist-oncologist. Gurunathan received his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, followed by pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a fellowship in pediatric hematology-oncology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
Gurunathan has published in journals such as Nature Communications, American Journal of Hematology and Pediatric Blood and Cancer.
