About

Amber Fenton, M.D., is a pediatric ophthalmologist and affiliate faculty in the Department of Ophthalmology at Dell Medical School. Originally from Oklahoma, Fenton received her bachelor’s in health and sports science at the University of Oklahoma in Norman. She received her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. She then moved to South Carolina for her ophthalmology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Fenton then finished her training with a pediatric and adult strabismus fellowship at the prestigious Riley Children’s Hospital at the Indiana University in Indianapolis. She has a young son who keeps her busy outside of the office, and she loves exploring the city. She especially enjoys live music, gardening, hiking, wake surfing and yoga.
