About
Amanda Horton is an affiliate faculty within the Department of Women’s Health at Dell Medical School. A specialist in maternal fetal medicine, she currently practices at Austin Maternal Fetal Medicine. She earned a medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine.
Horton is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine. She is a fellow within the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) and is a member of the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the International Fetal Medicine and Surgery Society, the Central Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Horton has a special interest in perinatal ultrasound, fetal echocardiography, amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling and cerclage placement.
