Impacting Health From Downtown Austin
Connecting the region’s network of innovators and organizations focused on health, the emerging Innovation District is a hub for transformation.
The nonprofit organization Capital City Innovation is shaping the district and creating pathways for collaboration. Founded through a partnership between Ascension Seton, Central Health and The University of Texas at Austin, Capital City Innovation is part of the community’s vision to develop a health innovation nexus that improves the lives of Central Texans.
All kinds of innovators and groups — from startups to researchers to nonprofits and beyond — are welcome to be a part of the burgeoning Innovation District. The district is a space to create, refine and validate disruptive ideas for improving health locally with the potential for national impact.
