Vettaikorumakankav “Veda” Vedanarayanan, M.D., FRCPC

About

“Veda” Vedanarayanan, M.D., is a professor in the Department of Neurology at Dell Medical School.

He was previously a professor of pediatrics and neurology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he also served as director of the Division of Neuromuscular Medicine and oversaw the Electromyography and Autonomic Laboratory.

Vedanarayanan received his medical education at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research in India. After finishing his child neurology residency at Duke University, Veda went on to complete a neuromuscular disease fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. His clinical focus includes muscle and nerve disorders as well as dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system.
